"DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM!! They engage in predatory practices. On top of the $50 buyout fee and 1 year contract, they wrongfully charge a $10 late fee multiple times. Worst customer service and there customer support line is automated. Gym is too overcrowded and has limited hours."

"This gym is constantly having cleanliness issues in and outside of the bathroom. There is pee on the floor regularly in the men's bathroom, flickering lights that go unfixed for days on end. Gum and hair is constantly in the sinks. Outside of the bathroom there is a lack of fresh air and always feels stuffy. I literally don't understand why they can't crack a door open to let some fresh air into the building. This might be personal preference but the lights seem way too bright. I have had a lot of people agree with me on that. Cleanliness outside of the bathrooms are also not well at all. Me and a lot of people have agreed on the fact that there is obviously not a regular cleaning inspection done on this place. Every time there is a huge issue with cleanliness I will often see the employees on their phones not caring about the upkeeping of the place or doing a mediocre job at keeping the place clean. Last thing is that I have asked countless people in this gym what they think of the equipment choice and what could be done better and every single person agrees that additional leg extension machines (an extremely popular machine) and additional cable machines (there is a total of just SEVEN cable machines in the entire building for everyone to share) are needed due to the high usage of these machines. Also, literally 45% of this gym is a field and cardio equipment. This place needs to reprioritize their machine count or expand the gym building as a whole. The problem with having all of these issues only TRIPLES in seriousness due to the fact that people are being charged $50 to cancel, period. There is no way to avoid it and there is a $50 annual fee so even if you don't cancel you will still pay that $50 annually. So they win no matter what you choose. If a new gym opens that manages these common gym issues better than Fitness 19 I will be heading there ASAP."

"Impossible to cancel membership. Not honest practices when signing up. My son was in Moorpark for the summer for college baseball was told he was signing up for a summer membership that was going to cancel at the end of the time period that he wouldn’t need to do anything else. He has been charged 6 months. Have called several times to resolve. Can never reach a manager (who is the one that needs to approve a refund and cancellation) and never get a call back."

"1 being the lowest star because you can never leave 0 stars on google for a review to be submitted. Absolutely terrible customer service. The manager of this location, Teddy Cooper, was the most unhelpful, inconsiderate manager I have ever witnessed when speaking with my mother and father. Facility has been charging my parents every 2 weeks, after my mom had verbally canceled her training sessions with her trainer. Meanwhile my mom has never been in the gym since September of 2023. Was told by trainer that membership was canceled. Was never told about submitting a cancelation in writing, was never told they had to come in and cancel. When looking over a bank statement from November and October, my dad saw 2 charges for $160 that were unauthorized. When we tried calling the club, Teddy Cooper said it was a miscommunication on my parent’s end, which is completely unacceptable to say, and simply did not care about my parents or their business. As someone who works in management for a one of the top customer service companies in the world (Enterprise) I was shocked that customer service was this terrible. He did not want to help my parents at all, and it was sad that he could not do right by my parents. Will never visit this facility again, and will definitely be encouraging our friends family to go elsewhere. That goes for all locations associated with Fitness 19, unless someone can do something ASAP about this!"

"This is the best gym with professional staff; a great variety of weights, machines and other exercise equipment; rooms for exercise classes or exercising; personal training services with excellent trainers; and other great gym features. It is a well-maintained clean gym facility opened with good business hours. The staff is super friendly, competent, helpful, and upbeat! Thanks to Teddy, Ana, Ben, Anthony V, the receptionists, and other staff who make this gym’s place a great safe clean environment. These are my opinions that have motivated me to return to this gym, since becoming a member when it opened."
