"Grossly negligent and do not address maintenance requests! As of the time of this writing, it is Wednesday, September 6th, 2023. Over 3 months ago on Friday, June 2, 2023, there was water leak from the unit above mine over my shower, floor and toilet area that blew up and damaged the walls of my never-before-renovated, very old-as-it-is bathroom; water also came down from my bathroom doorway (all of which I recorded as it was occurring all night on June 2), as well as randomly being unable to use wall outlets out of nowhere throughout my apartment unit (according to Minkin Maintenance Manager Rich, having to do with "my breaker going bad like many units here at this building, as well as lots of leaks going on at this building." His words). Since that very date over 3 months ago now, to no avail I have been reaching out directly to Minkin Management leadership representatives via swarms and swarms of calls and e-mails sent to Minkin Management Regional Manager Stephanie Bernal, Minkin Management Owner Erik Unmuth, and (the now former/resigned property manager) Scott Snartsky (recently replaced by someone named Deb I’ve heard). They’ve all pretty much ghosted me and blatantly ignored my efforts to get these serious maintenance matters resolved (luckily I have a paper trail). That has been combined with swarms of calls, texts and communications to Maintenance Manager Rich as well for these over 3 months now, while he gives me dates he will show and backs out last minute, telling me he just plain won’t be able to make it, or just plain doing a no-show. Minkin Management Regional Manager Stephanie Bernal has only responded to a minor few of the many e-mails I’ve had to send. In those very few e-mails she has sent, she’ll apologize for her lack of communications as well as to say they will address my maintenance issue, only for nothing to happen and her to disappear into ghosting me for numerous weeks again. Maintenance Manager Rich said he’s pretty much the only maintenance staff member for all of Minkin’s properties, explaining that this is why I am having so much trouble getting anything done with them. He finally started work late last week on Aug. 29th just before my lease renewal date of Sept. 1, in which they hiked up the rent on me. With him stripping everything out of my bathroom to begin construction, I opted to renew after Rich made big claims on how nice it would look. Big mistake! Beginning on Sept. 1, maintenance work on my unit came to a fleeting halt. This now leaves me without a bathroom to use, their construction supplies all over and most everything stripped out. Maintenance Manager Rich was back to scheduling a date and canceling last minute on said date, a daily occurrence with him now since the first of September."

"This place is absolutely horrible. There is a 72 year old women paying $950 a month living downstairs on an oxygen tank who’s apartment is infested with mice and management refuses to do anything, her husband died and they refuse to move her to another apartment. There are people who have broken ovens, microwaves, and holes in their ceiling and this place refuses to do anything. Management is non-existent. You can call the office and no one will ever pickup the phone, or return emails, but they will come by the first week of every month for a few minutes to collect their checks… there are people in this building who still don’t have access to the new access control panel, and they refuse to give them a code… this place is a total disgrace!!!"

"The bed bugs are so bad here. You can see them coming throughout the vents into peoples homes. There are so many racist people in this apartment complex. This building has mice so bad. As i was heading downstairs I spoke with someone who lives on 2nd floor and he has said hes got bitten up so bad by bedbugs. Dont let them fool you with the pool. Thats the only good think about living here. Please remember THEY HAVE BED BUGS !!! I called the city on them multiple times, hopefully they will be shut down soon"

"The apartment is nice and quite, wonderful neighborhood and nice neighbors. My apartment is clean and new everything. I am happy with this being my first apartment. Nice laundry room and pool. Yes there are different smells but once your in your own unit/apartment it won’t matter. My family love coming over and I don’t have a complaint at all."
