"Ok swimming program. I would be able to give them more stars if they didn't make you jump through numerous hoops to schedule a makeup class (can obly schedule a class 6 days from your last class, etc), or lose your money, or the makeup classes go dormant, etc.go Otherwise , the swim instructors seem to be pretty good. Lessons are just 19 minutes long, though (the instructors end 1 min early). It's in a good location, and if you're not going to have to makeup classes at all."
"All of the swimming instructors are gentle and friendly with kids, but of course each of their personality, teaching, or interaction with your child is different and this is fault of no one. I gave stars for their great swimming instructors otherwise it would be zero. However their rules are extremely unfair and ridiculous, especially towards make up lessons. They can cancel your lesson an hour before your child’s lesson starts, and left you with their choice of instructor. They can do that to you, but you must cancel 2hrs ahead. How can I cancel 2hrs ahead if they cancelled 1hr before our lesson? How can I book my preferred instructor within 1hr? They are booked up fast. Make up lesson will disappear if your paid scheduled ended or your account becomes inactive. And you can only schedule a make up class within 1 week. This is extremely unfair due to instructors are booked up fast, especially the experienced instructors, so almost no chance of using this make lesson with your preferred instructors. They don’t give you much choice of Freeze lessons either. We lost 6 make up lessons due to covid years and that was covid year so we were not bitter about it. This time we are losing 4 make up lessons due to misinformations of a rep gave to me over the phone before we decided to take a break. If you are going to buy packages with them, make sure you understand their make-up lesson, Freeze option policies or if your child’s instructor takes break."
"My 6-y old son has been going to Waterworks San Francisco location for about 6 months. He liked all the instructors who he had which was impressive. He had classes with Willow, Zone, Cass, Gabby, and Ivan. I want to write the review especially to thank his instructor Rocio. The first time I booked class with her, there was a lot of traffic and all kinds of incidence piled up together that I spent 2 hours in commute only to arrive right in time to miss the entire class. With a tiny hope that the instructor's next student maybe a no show that if I could ask for a favor to have him take that spot. She greatfully said yes but both of her next students were there. We were gonna leave sadly, but she told us she has opening after this class was over. I was thrilled, not until his class was over, I realized that might be her break time. I said so much thank you to her. She just smiled and said no big deal, she totally understood the crazy SF traffic. Thank you again Rocio. You truly made me and my son's day that day."
"I had put my son in Park and Rec group swim classes for 2-3 years, but my son never advanced because he was too afraid to put his head/face in the water. Semi-private lessons with swim teacher Tiffany changed all of that! Tiffany helped my son to feel safe in the pool, made learning swimming fun, gave constructive feedback that was encouraging, and was extremely patient with him. Tiffany uses all of the 20 minutes in the lesson wisely; she doesn't end the lesson 5 minutes early to give a parent update, which I feel is a waste of time and money. In a span of 2 years, my son has gone from not wanting to put his face in the water to knowing how to swim the freestyle, back stroke and breast stroke. He is currently learning the butterfly stroke. Tiffany is one of the more experienced instructors with Waterworks San Francisco, and she is really great working with children. My son is so lucky to have recurring weekly lessons with Tiffany -- she is absolutely the best!"
"This used to be a good swim school but has gone way down in quality since I enrolled my two kids there. They recently raised their prices and didn't know notify any of their clients. They have lost any good instructors that they had. They charge two weeks in advance. There's much better places than this so take a look around before you even think about this place. I pulled both my kids out and so did two of my friends. I believe if you're gonna switch instructors than you should notify the client also the same goes for raising your rates, you should notify people. I will not be back and will recommend people go elsewhere."
