"In terms of the actual pest service, I had a good experience, technicians showed up and let themselves in and did the service quickly. Haven’t gotten to the worst bug season, so I can’t say for sure how effective the service was in terms of reducing my issue which was earwigs in spring and early summer. I signed up on a reoccurring service with a representative who came to my door last spring offering a special on what I assumed was just a reoccurring service. I had the service 9 months. The issue is, I needed to cancel my service due to needing to sell my house and losing my job. When I went to cancel, the tech informed me I was on a year contract and canceling early would result in a $250 termination fee. I could have kept the service and continued paying even after selling, but it would have been more than $250 so I just cancelled it. Had no idea I was on a year contract, and if it was made clear by their sales person there were termination fees, I definitely wouldn’t have gotten the service on such a long contract. If fees and contract terms are not made clear upfront, it just feels a bit disingenuous. Or in the very least, do a better job at explaining contract terms when signing folks up for services."

"A-1 Pest Management gave us an outstanding service. They came out sameday that I called. We had a ton of black widows, common house spiders and ants. Rick cleared all the spiders webs and explained that spiders will hide in crevices then will come back out and make new webs. So it will take a few services to clear them all and to stay on top of it. Especially in the spring and summer months. He was easy going with professional service.
