Summit Lake Apartments

"If you enjoy living in run down apartments this place is for you! I have found that things don’t get attended to unless they break first. An ounce of prevention….not here! And when stuff does break you get to wait to have it fixed. There is a weird smell of death that eeks from the woods, bird poop throughout the grounds, bugs and rodents inside the apartment and shoddy wall repairs from previous tenants. All this and you’ll enjoy a weekly visit from fire, rescue, police and ambulance calls."

"I lived here years ago and loved it. I still love the location, the lake view is great. However they refused to let me see the unit before moving in, which I found is not legal, and 2 days prior to move in I was allowed in- turns out even though the hallway says “no smoking” the building is not smoke free. The person below me smokes and it comes through my vents and every crack in the wall. It’s unhealthy for my toddler, and I myself am extremely sensitive to smoke - to the point where I get migraines. They don’t care. They told me I’d have to re apply for a new unit, and my rent would go up if I change units. Horrible customer service. I am counting the days down to where I don’t have to go to bed smelling smoke and wake up to the smell in the bathroom I don’t recommend unless you know if the neighbors are indoor smokers. ."

"Nice complex in Hartland. Close to shopping, good schools and restaurants. Right in the middle of Lake County. Easy access to highway 16 then into Waukesha, Milwaukee or West. Quiet and peaceful."

"I was very happy living at Summit Lakes. The apartment was clean as were the grounds. The pool area was always clean and spotless. Very quiet considering it's a huge complex. Would recommend to anyone looking to live in the Hartland area. Staff was always polite, concerning and helpful. When maintenance was requested it was always taken care of quickly. If I was ever in a position were I needed to move back to an apartment I would definitely consider Summit Lakes again!!"

"We absolutely love living in the Summit Lake apartments. The cathedral ceilings are gorgeous and the apartment itself is just really nice. We love the balconies and the pool in the summer! The staff and maintenance people are so friendly and extremely helpful. My husband and I have never had a better experience with an apartment before! I would highly recommend these apartments! The lake is beautiful and it's just all around a nice place to live! The price is also very reasonable for what you get and the location it's in! We also love that pets are welcome!"
