"We got a Zulu Three awhile back for my son's sixth birthday. Not only has the bike been great, but the customer service has been fantastic as well. I spoke with a friendly and knowledgeable human who picked up the phone before ordering the bike. When we had an issue with a component on the bike almost a year later, Prevelo immediately took care of the problem with absolutely no hassle. Most bikes built for kids are heavy, terrible to ride, and destined to become landfill after moderate use by a single child. The Zulu Three is a proper bike. Durable and serviceable. When our oldest outgrows it, I know his brother will be happy to take it over. When he's done with it, I fully expect it to still be ready for the next lucky kid who gets it. These bikes are well worth the price, and the customer service goes beyond what I'd expect from a local bike shop. ...which puts it light-years beyond anything you're likely to experience with a big-box store."

Wrapped and protected when shipped, delivers earlier then expected, very light bike (the only way to go), strong/reliable chain and just an overall awesome experience and I haven't even given to my daughter for her bday. "We've had an amazing experience with Prevelo. Four days ago I called the company to ensure I was ordering the correct size for our 18 month old granddaughter. Alpha Zero was correct so we ordered the bike online, expecting it to take several weeks to arrive here near Toronto Canada. "I can't say enough about the support provided. The bike is great and I feel it's a good value. There are a handful of companies selling kid-specific bikes that are great bikes and I honestly don't know if there is a huge difference between them outside of the cost and components. My twin boys have been on Wooms since they were 12 months, but the lead time and cost made me start my research process again. I decided on the Prevelo b/c of 1. Cost (seemed to be a better value for what we were getting and we just didn't need all of the fancy components for weekend trail rides and rides to school and around the 'hood); 2. Weight (I feel the lightweight nature of the Wooms got the boys riding at 18 months and loving biking. So, lightweight was important to me); 3. Type of riding (they are 6 getting ready to turn 7 and while they "mountain bike" with me, they really don't benefit yet from the added cost of suspensions, disc brakes and higher end components and more importantly they haven't developed the habits and respect for using and taking care of a higher end bike); and 4. High reviews (they had great reviews...I dig deep and read many reviews to understand why or why the product was rated what it was.) Having purchased the bike and needing to rely on their support team, I am so happy I went with Prevelo. The service has been exceptional. One of my boys "tacoed his front rim" the second week the bikes were out of the box. He was ok, but the front wheel was not. Jim was outstanding. Quick response time, very helpful and we have a new wheel arriving this week. I highly recommend Prevelo."
