"Whenever they don't feel like coming up my driveway to deliver a package, they LIE and say I wasn't home (I'm disabled, and ALWAYS home, and none of my packages require a signature anyway). There is usually no answer at the post office during the hours they are SUPPOSED to be open. I'm so sick of the dishonesty."
"The post office has closed the access to the post boxes, lobby, at 5:00 pm, closed weekends and holidays. Claimed this was due to stimulus checks causing box break in. Then they took away trash cans, said that mail left behind caused, security problems. Treated like subjects not customers. 30 years with same box, lobby opened 24/7, now a problem? No trash cans?"
"The Post Office in Boulder Creek is a very friendly place and the service is good. But like most USPS facilities around the country it is antiquated. With all of today's technology the post office could be a trail blazer, and each post office could have its own character. Instead they are all pretty much the same and out of date."
"They collect delivery payment but don't deliver packages. Excuse given is road condition which would mean 95% of Boulder Creek does not receive their mail. Clerk stated they have 40 year old truck, which is not my problem. I pay for a service, I expect the service to be fulfilled. If you need new truck, request them, the postal service jas enough money. I need to charge you for my time and my fuel to cone pick up something I paid for to have delivered! A very cush job you have notbhaving to do your job."
"I got a tracking update that my (delicate) package wasnt able to be shipped because of "animal interference" at 12:30 despite not having any dogs or anything that may cause them not to drop an item off at my gate. I went down to the actual post office to try to pick it up and knocked, but didnt get an answer, which is fine since its after hours by a half hour, but I was a bit upset to see the recycling in the lobby just pouring out of the cans and the lids on the floor. I came home to find the mail carrier delivering around 6, they stopped in front of my house and still didn't drop off my package. They left me a "sorry we missed you" without marking ANY of the boxes as to why they couldn't deliver even though I saw them parked out front. My box is not at my driveway. Not to mention their phone never gets answered and they don't have an answering machine set up. Do better you guys, this is ridiculous."
