"Wow!!! Looks nothing like it did when I went there. Of course it wasn't this huge. When I attended Garfield, it was actually formally called GARFIELD INDEPENDENT LEARNING CENTER & It was a small school located on OHIO STREET in NORTH PARK. I attended there from 1982 to 1985 in which I graduated in 1985. I remember it being an open campus yatrd and we could even smoke cigarettes on benches outside. And leave for lunch. I miss those high school days @ Garfield. So many memories to remember. We lost a great teacher when I was there. Mr. Rhea. R.I.p. who lost his battle with cancer. I remember Mr Henderson, Mr Warfel, Mrs Lane , kojak lol"
