"If your kid is a athlete....beware. There is so much favoritism here It's not even believable. First of all their football team is badly coached. I seen talented kids on the sidelines getting no play time while some scrub kid plays both sides of the ball. I saw better coaching in popwarner & jr all American to be truthful. Daddy ball is tolerated here on both sides of the ball. Oh and they happen to be offensive & defensive coordinators at that, total parent take over. Even their girl's team sports had favoritism issue. Run from this school if your kid is a true athlete!"
"Andrew Serrano rated this place 5 stars and he is my idol so i must do too. Went here back in '79 when they held the Jimmy Neutron look-alike contest, me and my bud won that big time! Also I would say that there are a lot of gangs like kook squadron and legion and goon squadron an aloha baez TBH bombbbbbb af place tbh. Also they have a really good footballl squadron but their water ball squardaon rivnasty is lacking"
"Why are Poly's "Civic" teachers passing out "laminated" constitutional rights cards, which obviously mislead and could endanger students, without fully explaining when they should not be used. "Slide" the search "under the door?" That's never happened, so please step back from the door, it's about to be forced open. Great you don't give permission to search, because they won't need it with a small thing called "probable cause" and/or search incident to detainment/arrest. DO BETTER!!!!"
"i love this school so much... honestly they make life a little easier there, you might be having a really bad day but they always bring the sunshine out on your grey skies. they have all made my experience so amazing i honesty have no other words than they are a great school! you will find a couple of people who are rude and disrespectful but you just got to go on with your life, other than that Poly High is an amazing school! Forever in my heart Poly High School, home of the bears!"
"Poly's freshman football coaching is sub-par at best.....bad play calling....and they didn't use their talent that well. As for their basketball program....once again bad coaching on the JV & freshman levels.....a lot of political bull crap you have to deal with if your kid is good. They have their set guyies before tryouts ever start. Plus the boost club gets favorable spots for their kids. I say that the freshman basketball coach was kinda racist towards black kids there."
