"Looks like I made a mistake with trusting this firm with a pretty simple trust/power of attorney contract. I know we all have important things in our lives and in our work places but scheduling a client call meeting with me and Kate cancelling and not showing up for the 2nd time is simply rude and unprofessional. Then I call back and the answering service now says she’s sick and unavailable the rest of the week but provided no other options other than something to the effect of “just wait till she is available to call you back.” No one knows when that would be. I paid over $3000 for her services and she really hasn't done anything. She's disappeared and has abandoned my case. Accordingly I've filed a complaint with the State Bar of California."

"My husband and I were looking to set-up a family trust using our insurance from MetLife. We had our initial consultation with Kate and she set-up a follow-up appointment the following week. The initial consult wasn't that great but we wanted to get started on the trust right away. She pretty much just asked if we had any questions and gave a little explanation of the benefits of a trust. Prior to the follow-up appointment she send us 2 engagement letters. One which she described as "bare bones" was covered by insurance and another one with a few more docs for $3500. The bare bones one was sufficient for us so we signed the engagement letter. When our follow-up appt came around she was a NO SHOW! And what's worse is no follow-up at all afterwards. We have emailed her several times for another appointment and left a message at her office. No response at all and honestly a waste of our time as we want to get the trust process started. I feel like she didn't think we were worth her time since we didn't want to pay $3500 for more docs. We were hoping to find an attorney we could have a relationship with for future legal needs but with this service definitely not! So unprofessional and don't know how she even operates a business. Definitely do not recommend. Don't waste your time like I did."
