"Very rude I’ve been keeping in contact with Alex for months I got my money ready now he’s dodging me and I gave him important papers from my lawsuit he told me that I would sign the contracts the next day so the next day came I got there early and I waited two hours and a half for them to open just to be talked to unprofessionally by two of the older light skinned women repeatedly telling me that I have to have an appointment and that I needed to leave not trying to give me no information I was trying to tell her I had an appointment and she was in the office so she knows that she’s just was being difficult she told me that she called Alex about me I said okay can you call Alex and tell him I’m here and she told some girl to call him so the girl on the phone just standing there so I projected my voice so Alex could hear me and one of the mixed ladies said don’t yell in this school then some of the students started yelling at me telling me to stop yelling also so the lady told me to leave and I did they locked the door like I was gonna barge in so they had to open up the door for every student that was coming to attend to make sure I wouldn’t come in it was just bad and Alex wouldn’t answer the phone then he finally called me and he lied and said he never told me to come up there he said he’ll call me to make an appointment I still haven’t heard from him school is about to start in two days I have called and left voicemails I gave him more than enough days to call me he usually gets back to me but now I’m reading the reviews and I see I’m not the only one"
"A little over priced for a college, but the students who have done my hair always have done an excellent job. Also, there are a decent amount of students so the wait is not that long."
"I applied to this beauty college, was very eager to get started on my journey and soak in all the knowledge, had my money ready, the guy Alex was always very difficult to contact. I don't live far from the school so I would visit to talk with him, could barely get him. They did not communicate well with me and would always dodge me for whatever reason when I was just trying to get enrolled. So I just gave up. Don't recommend this school for anyone."
"First time going. Aside from the mix up about not knowing I needed to bring my own hair (and not purchase here), resulting in losing my place in the line. The service was great, love my hair. Will be back"
"THEY LOST A CUSTOMER. Im only giving 2 stars because the lady that cut my first sons hair was nice and a few of the students but…… The Hispanic lady that was managing was rude and refused to give me a refund after I told her that I couldn’t wait longer for my sons hair to get cut. She kept giving me excuses about this being a beauty college instead of telling me up front that I would be waiting over an hour for my other son to get his hair cut. I understand that it’s a school and they have customers but every time I take my sons to get their hair cut, the barber lets me know about how long it will take until it’s their turn, it’s the same when I get my hair done. They charge the same prices as professionals, so don’t go thinking you’re going to pay less and you’ll get unprofessional customer service. The students need someone to practice on and we don’t have to come here if we can’t help each other out. They don’t even get paid for their work. Why are the prices so high? I try to support black owned businesses but not giving refunds when I change my mind about receiving service because I was not warned about the extended wait time is unprofessional and rude. I didn’t need excuses, I wanted MY money back so I can leave and take care of the rest of my business for the day. This really messed up my schedule. When the stylist was done doing a bad job on my sons hair, the Hispanic lady told me I needed to be patient. She could care less about what I had to do for the rest of the day. I can’t sit in there all day like her. She also told me that next time I should get my sons hair washed next time. When she saw that his hair wasn’t clean enough, she could have asked me to pay for the service but instead she chose to complain about it. I would have gladly paid for him to get his hair washed before the cut but no one suggested it, they just cut it that way. I had no idea that he didn’t wash his hair good enough or I would have asked for the service up front. He’s 12 years old, no need to attempt to shame me for not washing his hair thoroughly, he’s old enough to wash his own hair. I’ll NEVER visit this place again. She just put a bad taste in my mouth about it. I like receiving good customer service but not everyone can provide that and I’ll go to other shops that do."
