"As a student Adult at Torrance School, I have U.S. History and English 4A and AE Economics classes for my High school diploma. Dr. Estes Hilary has been helping me. She is a great teacher, the best!! The office staff is always willing to help and give you as much information as you need, To guide you on your needs! My plans for the future at this school are to continue studying and get my high school Diploma and take the class Child Development 103."

"As a student at Torrance Adult School, I have taken an English class from the high school class enrichment. During the class, we learn vocabulary and grammar. After class, we practice a lot to master new words and write correct sentences. Additionally, we read poems and novels and analyze them, which helps me gain a deeper understanding of English literature. My teacher has helped me a lot. She assists us in applying English in real-world situations. She has taught us how to write a five-paragraph argumentative essay in preparation for the Hiset writing test. She has also taught us how to write a cover letter and a resume for job applications. Through this class, my English has improved significantly. I plan on taking a childcare development class at both TAS and El Camino College in the fall."
