"Folks, stay away from this firm! I had a phone intake questionnaire done for 15 minutes, then an hour-long in-depth phone consultation where I discussed my case. I even sent them a 13-page timeline of events PDF. And what did they do after all this? DENY ME! Like, are you SERIOUS? They gave me NO reason why they declined my case too, saying that it would be "giving legal advice." I smell B.S. There is certainly a case here with at least 2 or 3 causes of action. I consulted two other firms and each one is willing to take me on, so I have my pick of the litter right now. But why didn't Shegerian accept my case? Here are some reasons which are highly plausible: 1. They're a snobby law firm, only willing to take huge cases on a contingency fee. If you're not involved in a class-action suit or suing a very prominent media attention-grabbing company, they won't take you. My case involves a private medical company and a whole hospital system that rakes in hundreds of millions of dollars a year! And you're telling me you can't take the case? 2. They're grossly incompetent. Those are the only 2 reasons that can explain why my case got declined. When you're dealing with irrationality like this, there is no place in the field of law for that. Stay away from Shegerian at all costs!!!"
