Gould Street Apartments

"My boyfriend and I rented one of the Gould Street Apartments for a year, and we're glad that year is finally over. We brought up some of the complaints we read online (smoking, safety, professionalism, etc.) to management and they reassured us that none of these complaints were still an issue. They wouldn't show us the actual apartment we were going to rent before moving in due to "COVID concerns" but they let me tour the apartment next door. Once we moved it, it was obvious the previous tenant smoked, and the walls/ceiling were stained yellow. Both of our neighbors smoked in the hallways and stairwells. When we questioned management about it, they told us they knew it was a problem and have asked them to stop...just after they reassured us it wasn't a problem. On more than one occasion we found cat litter and feces in the laundry room and in the washer. Our A/C unit stopped working after about a week. The kitchen sink started to leak on a Saturday morning, and their solution was to turn the water off until the following Tuesday. The list goes on. Overall, I would not recommend."

"The management, Three Amigos Property Management, is absolutely phenomenal. They are very responsive and actually care about their tenants. The maintenance is also amazing: knowledgeable, prompt, and skilled. The walls are nice and thick. When you go out in the hallway, you realize how loud the neighbors are, but none of their noise can be heard through the soundproof walls. The heat in the apartments are also extremely efficient. I've had bad luck with heating in other apartments, but Gould Street Apartments heating makes the rooms cozy in the winter. These apartments are affordable and the management is incredible."
