"An absolutely amazing experience. This is a beautiful house and the owners are so incredibly kind. Breakfast was to die for, the wine I ordered was SO worth it and paired amazingly with the delicious chocolates. It is the cleanest place I’ve stayed, the bed was very comfortable, and it was quiet. I could only hear my neighbors once and it was before it got late. Having three kids and getting a weekend away, I was so thankful young children aren’t allowed. Go visit the castle. You will not regret it Thank you so much, Billy and Brandon."

"A stretch for us to afford, we enjoyed our stay very much. It truly does look like a castle in person, and renovated with a design plan appropriate for the most opulent Victorian, that can also feel welcoming. Brandon and Billy were both wonderful hosts, the breakfast was delightful, and their eyes for the smallest details in their renovations are incredible. You can come in and simply enjoy your beautiful private room for the joy it is, or wander the open areas of the house enjoying art from around the world, as well coffee table books about everything from antiques to historical buildings, Wisconsin in general to Lacrosse proper, and France to notable individuals from history."

"From the time we walked into the front door till the time we left our stay was amazing. Friendly knowledgeable owners shared so much history and detail of this beautiful home. Our over night stay was a 10 out of 10. Very luxurious and accommodating. Early morning breakfast to top things off was 5 star experience. This was not just a stay this was and experience that everyone should try."

"This has been one of the best experience of my life. The owners are so knowledgeable and friendly and amazing. The bed was heaven, the sheets so soft. The room was incredibly relaxing. The home is so beautiful and interesting. I loved the tour when we first checked in. It was so fun talking with the other guests. Breakfast was amazing every day. I liked how they gave us private seating for the meal, though honestly everyone was so lovely I wouldn't have minded eating with them. And the food... Oh God the food was delicious. My favorite secret unknown part was the puppers in the back yard. They were so fun. The location is great too, very quiet, but super close to downtown, easy to get everywhere. I can't wait to come back someday and try another room, we stayed in the oak room. It was amazing but I'm so curious about the other rooms! I also look forward to the restoration of the rest of the house."

"We stayed last night and we really enjoyed it. The owner greeted us right away in the evening and carried our luggage up to our room, which was very sweet. All the bedding was phenomenal, sheets blankets and pillows included. However the towels were rough, I was surprised because of how great the bedding was. The bed was too hard for me, I like a soft bed, but my husband liked it. We've stayed at B&Bs all over the US and Canada this one definitely has a unique architecture. Breakfast was REALLY delicious but small portions, I would have preferred a whole burrito instead of half. We love to eat and are big time foodies. We will definitely be back in the future, I want to try a couple different rooms and the nighttime cookies."
