"Sad to say that I think today will be my last day of going in, after being a frequent regular for almost 6 months. I buy every single time I come in and have spent plenty of money doing so. Felt very familiar with the owner, after collecting all my new amazing spider man comics, even having one specially ordered for me, and plenty of cards. I went in today, for the first time simply because I was bored. So I browsed the backdrop boxes. Starting from the front. I found one and wanted to inspect it, I got one of the two pieces of tape off, before he(the owner) yelled at me, “sir, do not take them out the bags!” I quickly apologized and just put back the ones I was looking at and proceeded to the middle of the boxes, where I saw for the first time the sign that said, “please do not take comics out of bags.” So I got that, my fault. I began thinking of my apology while thumbing through a box, and because I was the ONLY person in the store, I could hear the owner and his employee talking about how annoying what I had done was. To be talked about while I’m shopping in their store is an experience I don’t think I’ll forget. This is the part that I found very unprofessional and made me incredibly uneasy to be treated that way after being such a regular customer there. Hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else…"

"Update: Be cautious when you SHOP AT THIS STORE! The owner unaccountably threw me out twice, from what I can only guess is that he has a chip on his shoulder, for who knows what. In my case hhe demonstrated he was incapable of considering that he may have misinterpreted what he ‘thought’ he heard me ‘imply’ in the tone or delivery of my vocalized reasoning for asking him about local comic events. He embarrassed himself, twice, for no good reason. am sorry to say, that despite returning and asking if I could frequent the store he responded that I ‘insulted’ him by asking if he knew where any conventions were. My roommate was with me. I attempted to reconcile but he again yelled at me, my roommate, and booted us again. brought my 16 yr old son here because it was an amazing comic store. Unfortunately, by asking the owner at the front desk about any comic conventions, art shows, or the like, I was booted from the store along with my son. Despite asking politely for the reason why we were being booted, he raised his voice yelling ‘Get out of my store!’, and booted us. Volunteering my Saturdays for 4 years at my local comic store from 11 to 14 literally changed the course of my life. I am loathe to give one star, especially with the selection. The guy kinda broke my heart in front of my son."
