"Toughest disc golf course I’ve ever played! Incredible views. Huge elevation changes. Even a 1100’ Par 5!"
"The course was better than I remembered - which was epic 20 years ago when I last came. Our party included my son and his cousins (ages 15/16/18). All cousins are ultimate players, but had never really played disc golf before, so we practiced at holes -3,-2,-1, 0 for a couple rounds so they could learn to throw golf discs. These holes are off to the left just past the kids bike trail to find an amazing tree on the way to the practice holes. All main holes are challenging, (one was 1000ft+ !!!!) and there is always a danger of losing your discs. I recommend to always have a spotter run up ahead to watch where the discs go if you are playing, especially with beginners. We learned this after hunting for a lost disc for 25 minutes on hole 4 long. A big thank you to the maintenance staff who was busy keeping the grass cut short, which certainly helps. If you haven't played here before, it is absolutely worth the commute. Be sure to wear long shirts and pants as there are both thorny (blackberry?) brambles and poison oak a plenty throughout. It also took 4+ hours to complete the course - of course much time was spent on the practice holes with the kids learning how golf discs fly."
"Came here for my bag tag and didn't know I signed up for a hike! This monster course is both challenging and exhausting. Not for beginners to disc golf whatsoever. It's a very green course with a nice view of the lake and plenty of wind on hills. Immediately the course will throw you a 479 feet steep uphill beast of a hole 1! I swear I expended half of my HP just playing the first three holes. Prepare lots of liquid and snacks and at least three hours to play this. Signs and concrete tees for all 18 holes included."
"Keep your eyes out for poison oak (resist the urge to wear shorts) and wear shoes appropriate for bit of moderate hiking. Lots of varieties of shot shapes, some open stuff, lots of elevation related challenges, lots of obscured baskets (which is fun), and a handful of more technical holes. This course is awesome and well worth the five bucks to access the parking lot (it’s on Marin County Parks land)."
"Your current question is: Should I make the extra trip here to disc golf. The answer is unequivocally: Yes. Even if you live in Nairobi you should come to play this epic course. See my pics for course holes. (Feb2021) It is very difficult, but very well laid out with a wide variety of terrain and obstacles to navigate. Don't get discouraged if your first five holes are high numbers. Just play through, and 420 at the Moist Tee(Hole 6) to get your mind back in the game. Enjoy the picturesque beauty."
