"The tour was very disjointed. I'm not sure if the guide was nervous or something else, but he seemed like he was struggling to keep his thoughts together. There was an interesting bit about Belle Boyd, but beyond that it was devoid of any coherent story. We were given a lot of "this place is DEFINITELY haunted" moments without any explanation or justification for saying that. Our first stop was at the Brat House Grill where the tour guide stayed on the bus and told us to go inside and take a picture in the women's restroom. The guy working the bar seemed. genuinely confused by us being there which makes me wonder if this tour is sanctioned. We were given black devices that I'm assuming were supposed to be EMF detectors. There was no explanation of what these were or why we were given them. The only genuinely interesting section of the tour was at the cemetery, but even that felt half-baked."
"First and for most the driver was very nice! How ever, I think the tour could be way way better.. for what u pay to go on that it kinda sucks! So if who ever does these tours are reading this.. here's my advice I would at least decorate the inside of the trolley to set the mood.. maybe play some creepy music something.. and maybe get out and walk around some of these haunted places? I get u can't go up stairs at the showboat but still.. I also think the tour should be at a later time.. everything is scarier when it's darker :))"
"I went on the Haunted History Tour on August 17th. When we got to the graveyard, the lights started flickering on the trolley for no reason! After my boyfriend and I got off the trolley and walked around a bit, we decided to go back to the trolley. While sitting there, my boyfriend tried to look at the time on his phone. His phone made a sound that reminded me of the sound your smoke detector makes when the battery is low, but 3 times as long. His phone shut off after the sound. He tried to turn his phone back on, but it made the sound again and shut off. This happened a total of 4 times. It happened one more time at the very end of the tour while we were waiting to leave the trolley. I think there is something paranormal on that trolley. It's been over a week, and his phone is fine now. No random shutdowns or terrible noises."
"We had a wonderful time on the tour. Caught some orbs in our pictures. Brian was a great tour guide very funny. We spent about 10 minutes with the dowsing rods talking to Nancy in the cemetery. My son felt the energy. When he asked her to point to my mom, the rod actually pointed to me! Totally cool, forever memories."
"Brian was fun and informative. Chatting with him, he knows quite a bit about paranormal research. The cemetery is by far the best part of the tour. I recommend this tour!!!"
