"Bank won't respond to my emails or calls. All associates are always busy, and now the number doesn't even ring for me anymore. I think they blocked me. I opened a citibank account, and after two weeks they closed my account and have been nonresponsive and no updates on when I will receive the remaining balance of my account. Hiba signed me up for my account, and misspelt my name. She assures me this is not the reason for the account closure because she fixed the name, but both the account and the atm card that arrived had my name misspelt. Would greatly like to get in contact with the branch manager, but as previously stated they don't really answer their phones."

She is very knowledgeable about her work and she does a good job at it. She is always very professional and courteous every time I've been there. "This was my first time visiting this particular branch; to be honest, I was a bit worried having read the reviews. Upon entering we were greeted by one of the bankers (Hiba Altimimy). She politely inquired as to how she could assist us and what services she could provide in turn. She made us feel very welcome, and demonstrated professional behavior throughout the visit. It was my son’s first time opening an account, and she took her time to explain in detail the benefits of each account type to him in a clear and concise manner. We selected the best option for him, and upon completing our business she gave us her business card and asked that we reach out to her should we have any inquiries and issues in the future. I’ll be recommending her to friends and family alike, and to whomever reads this comment!"
"I have never been motivated to write a review for a bank before in my life, but "Personal Banker" Hiba at this location was incredibly rude and I am not surprised that this location already has only 2 stars... We went to the branch in Mission Viejo near our house to cash some savings bonds this morning. The branch manager was very apologetic, but he had some sick calls today so he only had one teller and a line of about 10 customers. He called 2 other branches to see if they had at least 2 tellers available, told them we had savings bonds to cash, and asked if he could send us over. He even tried to help the line to see if he could help anyone or they could use the ATM so that the teller could help us, but everyone needed a teller. We [unfortunatey] came to Lake Forest because it was closer to us. We walked in and there were 5 bank employees standing / sitting with 0 customers. Perfect! We told Hiba that we were coming from the MV location where the manager had called from and had the savings bonds. We have 52 bonds, have been Citibank customers for decades, and Hiba seemed overwhelmed by this (even though the branch was empty, she had talked to the MV manager moments earlier, and she would have nothing to do with processing them). She walked over and complained to her teller - in front of us - then told us VERY RUDELY that her teller could not process more than 20 bonds today. Meanwhile, the entire time we were there only 3 other customers came in and all employees but the one helping us sat around (Hiba did take her break, of course, right after she assigned a teller to us LOL). Suffices to say, we will not be coming back to this location, ever again. The teller was very nice and even did 5 extra bonds for us (THANK YOU), but as a Manager for over 15 years myself, Hiba needs to be removed because this was one of very few branch experiences I've had with Citibank and unfortunately she was absolutely vile and did not represent the company well at all. Very disappointing. Citibank or Branch Management needs to take action here. The reviews are overwhelmingly negative."
"Extremely rude branch manager who asked me to return 3 times to open a simple safe deposit box and then astonishingly refused to open it after all that telling me I was not a fit for the branch. I have been a Citibank Private Banking customer for 22 years and extremely loyal. First she told me she needed me to open a CA account (which I go home and do over the phone), then she tells me I should have done it in the branch and told me to come back a 3rd time as once it was open she couldn't see it in her system (not the customer's fault!). Each time I was carrying valuable jewelry which she did not care a hoot about. She speaks loudly (ie yells) at all her customers which I don't understand given that banks are all about confidentiality. Everyone in the branch became aware of what any particular customer's issues are. A unbearably horrible experience and I'm sure plenty of banking regs and policies are being broken over there. No respect for customers as human beings, or the business they bring to Citi."
