"I had a 7:30 appt this morning and was told to arrive by 7:15 to get checked in and have my blood sugar numbers uploaded. I was there, in the dark, until 7:45ish when someone finally opened the check in window. I literally had the phone number pulled up and was going to walk out and cancel. I see Amanda Kilgore and she was amazing! I don't blame her at all! I am mad because I was then late for work and now have to use PTO or Vacation to make up the time which is uncalled for. I made an early morning appointment to prevent that!!"
"My daughter seen Dr de Villa today and I can say it was a breath of fresh air. He thoroughly explained the thyroid and medication. He was very patient with my daughter and let her tell him what was going on and how she was feeling. You can tell this Dr loved his job by the high quality care he provided. The nurse, Cindy, was beyond amazing. And the front desk was very professional.I will recommend this office to anyone with thyroid issues."
"Dr. Casis was very helpful. He made sure I understood what he was telling me and why. He also gave me treatment choices rather than just prescribing in his own. I would choose him again and I would recommend him."
"My mother-in-law and I had the worst experience. She needed an interpreter and Dr Casis seemed immediately annoyed when he saw the interpreter. He seemed impatient every time the interpreter had to interpret for my mother-in-law. When I would clarify things for my mother-in-law he became even more impatient. He finally yelled at us and told us to be quiet. I was in complete shock at the rude demeanor of this doctor. I have never experienced this type of behavior from a doctor. They’re supposed to be caring and professional, not rude and impatient. My mother-in-law became so scared of him that we never went back and switched to Aurora. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this doctor for your endocrinology needs."
"Dr. Cassis is an awful Doctor. If you have a thyroid issue chances are he will only look at your TSH, and give you levo. He was condescending when I explained that I had been reading up on the functions of the thyroid and studied about thyroid testing. He scoffed at the research I did. He then started being accusatory about diet, exercise, spouted off random diagnosis like sleep apnea, obesity disease, etc... he likened changing meds when he thinks they are doing the job ( even though I have hair loss, can not loose weight) to conducting open heart surgery. He also has a sign I. His waiting room saying they will refuse treatment of you are “demanding”... that should be your warning sign. He’s aweful and negligent at the expense of his patients. Do not go to him!!"
