"Not satisfied I have insomnia and they didn't give me the medication I needed to sleep. It is hard to function at ur job or in life without sleep."
"I’ve been a patient of this facility for over 10 years and find the healthcare providers and staff to be excellent professionals. They have always provided me with the information I need, and have answered all of my questions, in order for me to make my health decisions. The staff is always friendly, helpful and caring."
"In my opinion, the only way Aurora could get worse, is to relocate to Afghanistan. They will not even let you talk to your doctors office. You have to go through an extreme screening interview first. Then they send a message for your doctors office to call you, if you qualify for a call. According to the call center I talked to, my doctor doesn’t exist. So, something is wrong, somewhere. My medication has this non existing doctor listed as the prescriber."
"Review is for aurora not this specific one. I did an online appointment, received the bill for about $440 and a 45%discount for no insurance which brought my bill to $239 I thought for a 15 min online appointment was ridiculous. I told them I have insurance, well they billed them and I got my new bill for $334. I wish they would be able to just give the best price available there whole billing seems like a scam. They overcharge insurance when they obviously don’t need to. Insurance is a scam and so are doctors."
"My wife and I both went to Aurora for annual physicals. Our entire family has done this for years at various Aurora clinics. After both of our visits both my wife and myself received the bills for the visit. In every other physical our family has had we have ever only been billed for the annual physical which is covered 100% by our health insurance. This year both of us were billed for the annual physical, and an additional visit. We assumed this was a mistake and contacted billing. We were informed that it is Aurora's policy that if the patient asks any questions during the course of the visit that they will be charged for an additional visit because this is then not considered preventative and therefore not covered by the annual physical. I explained that the doctor (Dr. Vaishnav) asked both my wife and myself if we had questions which has always been standard in any annual physical we have had. We both briefly discussed with the doctor issues from previous visits which took about 5 minutes each. I also explained that at no point were we told that this would cause to incur an additional office visit charge which we would then have to pay out of pocket for. Aurora stance on this is that it is our responsibility to know we would receive this charge, and not the doctor's to tell us. They also said that it was in the best interest of us the patient as they were only providing us the best service. I explained to them that we did not have the money to pay for a second visit, and that these surprise charges were if anything detrimental to our health. The billing department was no help. I then contacted the customer advocacy department at Aurora and was told the same thing. From there I filed a complaint with the BBB, and was eventually contacted by Aurora. They have stood firm in their response, and have offered no change in their policy. After months of going back and forth we were able to get my wife's extra charge removed, but mine remained. Of daily calls from Aurora, and threats of collection and bad credit we finally felt we had to pay the bill or we would never get these people off our backs. By attending the annual physical we ended up experiencing mental and emotional stress, and financial hardship. It is unforgivable that a health care provider would put their patients through this. Short of trying to file a lawsuit we ended up having no recourse against this business and its dishonest practices. For the cost of one office visit Aurora is losing 6 customers from just our family, and we will be sure to tell everyone we know to be careful as you never know what they will be charging you for."
