Reviews
"Asked them for my prescription so I could get a new eye doctor and glasses close to home since mine broke and they would not give it to me. Told me I can only get it if I make a new appointment with them since it was due for one. I loved this place when it was Baldwins but now it's absolutely terrible."
"I agree with previous reviews. Getting billing/pricing up front. Dr. Trevor was awesome and comprehensive but this is no longer his practice and any mis-conception or hope that future services would resemble anything like Dr. Trevor is a pipe dream. This is just a shadow of once was such a great vision office. The billing department is plain rude and I don't see any reason to come back to this place. Get ready for frivolous insurance billing that will leave you scratching your head."
"My wife and I have been very happy with Dr Leo and staff, in all 3 of our visits this year. Dr Leo is very detailed in how they approach our eye exams and reviewing in-depth results, in a manor we could clearly understand. We like the way they treated us and addressed all additional question I/we had. I would highly recommend them."
"Ask for pricing up front. Costs were higher than the last time I was there. When I called corporate, they were no help and pretty rude. Doctor was ok, but did nothing to get to know me. I will be looking for new doctor"
"BEWARE! If I could give 0 stars I would. I was an old patient of Dr. Baldwin and after he retired, Eye Wisconsin took over. I gave them a chance but my gut was telling me something was off down to the smallest details. Telling me the wrong appt time, not remembering items for my appt, and charging me $145 even though I was told $140. The appt was rushed and Dr. Leo didn't really seem to want to get to know me like Dr. Baldwin and he treated me like a transaction then a patient. Due to the rushed appt, I felt my prescription was going to be off, which it was. I couldn't wear my glasses for more than 24 hours. I made an appt with Shopko due to the experience I had with Dr. Leo and when I called and spoke to Alana they offered to replace my lenses for free with the new script due to the mistake. I sent them my new script, they replaced the lenses but something still felt off. I called and spoke to Alana again and she said it might be due to thickness of my lenses and said maybe high index lenses would be the way to go. I went to another new doctor to have my script checked and it lined up with the Shopko script minus a couple of tweaks. I stopped in with the new script and paid $13 for the high index lenses. A week and a half went by before I received my new lenses. I called twice on 11/9 and received no answer both times even though they were open and the calls were 45 minutes apart thinking they were helping someone else. I logged into the portal and saw they were at the office. Went to the office on 11/10 at 8:15am and the doors were locked. I called and no answer and waiting for 5 minutes before trying the door again, still locked. It wasn't until I was 30 minutes down the road that I received a message that my lenses were in. I went and picked up my lenses later that day and Alana was there to assist me. I could tell they were a little off but she said due to them being a different material give it about a week, I did. Still no improvement to the point where I was getting dizzy and nauseous. Went to my new eye doctor today to see if they could replace with the polycarbonate lenses I had and they were surprised with my prescription that was even put into high index lenses. Also, they were able to properly fit my lenses into my frames where it didn't stick out too much from the sides, which was messing with my side vision. Something I was told by Eye Wisconsin when I brought it up that it was normal from my astigmatism. This review has nothing to do with Alana, she was great, patient and I always enjoyed working with her, she's doing her job and what is given to her from the higher ups. This review is to reflect how poorly this business runs and treating everyone as a transaction and instead actually caring about their concerns."
