"so much bullying and zero consequences. the school lost several students in one afternoon due to school violence."
"I got bullied a lot at this school, and the teachers didn't really do anything about it. As a person who struggles with social anxiety and panic disorder I found it incredible difficult to find a teacher who understood and took time to help me."
"My son loves it here. The kids and teachers have been great. Its been a hard time and tough road in the public schools. Our prayers have been answered finding bridges"
"For my 3-5th grade experience of it's grand opening, it has been a ton of fun. Made best friends, great memories, and had fantastic teachers. My only big concern for this school (although it'll probably get better) is that Bridges isn't part of CVUSD, which is a BIG problem going into 9th grade, because at, say Westlake, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Calabasas, or Agoura High School, they expect for you to already be in the system, and ready to go. Not Bridges, because since they have their own curriculum, it makes it much easier to graduate, but way harder to transition. Basically, Bridges Charter School (K-8) doesn't prepare students very well for high school. I'd rather people transition to a nearby middle school that IS part of CVUSD, like Redwood Middle School, for example. The only reason I see realistic to stay with Bridges 6-8th grade is if a student is struggling at a normal intermediate middle school, and needs a bit easier classes and work to fall into. Great people, great staff, ridiculous classes."
"excellent teachers ..staff and happy learners here. Students are real humanitarians and very intelligent on all levels here."
