"I don't know how they can remain in business. The absolute worst insurance company I've ever dealt with, and it's not close. I switched over from another Farmers Insurance company branch that I'd been with for many years, without issue, because a friend was working for Daiju Yoshino. My friend wasn't there long, but unfortunately, I had already signed a policy through this company. There were many annoying calls throughout the year from my new agent, Andrew, asking if I'd put covers on some air conditioning vents, and other unnecessary questions that were irrelevant and time consuming. About a year after signing, I was told the carrier was not going to renew my policy, because my business allows Punk bands to play. I called Andrew, as he did not contact me, to find out what was going on. He was going to find another carrier for me. Months went by, with no contact from Andrew. I called him and he said he was going to ask the carrier to extend my coverage. No follow up, and in the end I was without insurance for two months, due to Andrew's incompetence. He made no attempt to get me coverage, and worse, he didn't tell me and give me the opportunity to find insurance elsewhere as I was expecting him to do his job and find coverage for me. The thing he is paid to do. Because of the lapse in coverage caused by Andrew and his company, I was told by other insurance companies I could not get insurance, as the lapse shows I'm not reliable. I called Andrew and asked him to have his boss, Daiju Yoshina call me to offer an explanation. Mr. Yoshina told me his mother owned a restaurant and she works hard, and he works hard, and that was somehow supposed to make everything better. He never offered me coverage, or attempted to follow up. Thankfully, I contacted another Farmers just a few miles from Daiju Yoshina, and I was able to get coverage and a fantastic policy within a couple of days. I recommend Kirk Miller Insurance, and would STRONGLY suggest not wasting your time with Daiju Yoshina."
