"Forward was subcontracted by Saturn (who I have only ever had good experiences with) to haul a crate for us. The paperwork said from the get go that we'd need liftgate service at the terminus as we don't have a forklift. The day it should have arrived, they call saying their liftgate can't handle it. I say okay, how about we disassemble it and unload, the process will take about 10-15 minutes. Guy I talk to says maybe, then never calls back. I call the next day (today) and I'm told that's against policy, we can't enter the truck. I talk to four people, suggesting we just give the driver a drill and he can pull the screws out and we'll use the gate to unload. Finally talk to Ramon in management, he smugly and bluntly tells me no, they refuse to do this. Not they can't, they just won't (look at the other reviews that name check him on here). So Forward took on a crate they couldn't handle even though they knew the size and liftgate requirements going in, and refused to make a basic concession to avoid the huge delay and expense of switching to another carrier. He was pretty clear that he could help me and was just choosing not to. Absolutely worthless company."
