"Incredible winter weekend getaway. Perfect cabin for two couples. John guided our ice bike adventure, provided bikes and transportation, and kept us safe. Beautiful hiking trails on the property. An hour in the sauna with Barb's herbal concoction at the end of the day is an absolute must. We will return again!"

"Absolutely wonderful place to stay while exploring the beauty of the Apostle Islands National Park. Property was clean, comfortable and very well stocked with anything we needed. Barbara and John were fantastic hosts who assisted us with anything we needed ... even including a personal kayaking tour of the Sea Caves (thank you John). "The carriage house was perfect for our stay. Beautiful, clean and well maintained house and property. The garage was large and was just what we needed for bikes and such. Close to hiking, biking, and all things outdoors, as well as, restaurants and pubs for yummy food and drinks. John was super helpful recommending bike trails and other outdoor adventures. "What a great choice! John and Barb made us feel right at home. The Carriage House is nestled on 10 wooded acres just north of Bayfield. Close to town, but secluded by nature in every direction. This was truly a home away from home. Super clean accommodations and spectacular hiking trails and wildlife. We usually stay in a hotel while on vacation, but decided to try something different on this get-away. Of the many places we've stayed throughout the years, the Carriage House tops the list in every aspect. John and Barb are shining examples of what makes Wisconsin great!
