Texted her asking about availability, nothing. The least you can do for someone who is struggling with mental health is tell them you're not accepting new clients if that's the case. A therapist who ignores people isn't a therapist I'd want, I suggest finding someone more empathetic."

"Jessica used to be the therapist for my teenage son for a couple months. My son ended up receiving Intensive Outpatient therapy, after he was discharged from the program we attempted to schedule an appointment with Jessica as it was recommended from the mental health hospital. She decided not to respond to any phone/text messages. She finally returned my call after I left a message stating the changes that were made from my health insurance. She scheduled a virtual appointment for my son even though I told her that I was going to consult with my son to confirm the day and time works for him. She messaged my underage son and scheduled the appointment before I could confirm the appointment, I let that go as my son needed treatment. I received a phone call from my son’s school stating that virtual appointments with therapists were not allowed due to liability and they told me that the therapist should know about that. I called and texted her to try to make an in person appointment with her since my son trusts her but she never returned any of my phone calls or messages. She also charged me for co-payments that she claimed I owe even though my son carries two insurance policies and the insurance company told me that she never billed them. I’m not a Karen but it makes me angry that my son put his trust in her and she failed to be a professional. She could have told me that she couldn’t be he’s therapist anymore…"
