"Weird that i wasnt able to cash my check here when ive always been able to at a different branch. The manager was rude. Never ever going back here. The mission valley branch is the worst"
"Coming here for over a year now and never had a problem until today. I was standing in line behind 2 Caucasian girls, while another was in front off to the side filling out something, NOT IN LINE. The line is moving and im just one person a way from being in front. Well the girl that was filling out stuff, off to the side, decides to come and hop in front of me in line and not saying a word. Well I did and we started arguing because why jump in front of me and not the other Caucasian girl? She started to get aggressive in tone so I matched her energy because others are sick and tired of 'karens' thinking they can say and do whatever they want to others. Its not right and if I cut in front of her I would have looked liked the angry poc in the store and labeled ghetto . I asked the Hispanic male with glasses in the finance fsr section for help and he yelled at me and said he's not helping and its not his job. Well the bigger built Caucasian female employee working in a side booth, comes and grabs the girl trying to argue with me And is treating her like she's right when she was literally wrong. To me this is discrimination because right is right regardless of race and making her seem like she was right is not the correct thing to do because people will never learn. She was on code and helped the other caucasian person out, while ignoring me. Well I go to the teller who apologized and said she saw it all. The point I'm making is; this is how discrimination lawsuits come about. You are letting others get away with discriminating against certain people in your establishment And your employees are in on it. You are complacent in the privilege and you can be sued for discrimination. Your employees need better training and there needs to be a sign put so people are not jumping in and out of line in front of others. Its not right. Watch the cameras! I reported everyone to corporate."
"Just went to speak to the manager so I could withdraw my last $100 because the bank wasn’t allowing me to withdraw it, so I could get my baby food and she straight put me on the phone with a collector agent who was speaking to me in a very threatening way. When I hang up the phone she was just staring at me with that face ( no there is nothing I can do for you) I literally left the bank in tears feeling threatened, hopeless because there was no help there and not knowing where my baby’s next meal was gonna come from."
"Manager Ricardo is rude AF. I've had issues with other branches of this bank, but this is by far the worst. There's a wait in line. Only one teller. I get that. But repeatedly telling me I can go back in line when I simply note evenly that his process is different than literally the other branches of the same bank? Well that just set him off. Listen to the low scoring reviews. Not sure why anyone banks here tbh. Save your time and go to the Grossmont location. I've never had a terrible experience there...in fact, everyone was friendly and helpful. Unlike this one and College Grove. It's just not worth the aggravation. Edit: why did it take 20 minutes to cash a simple check when there was only one person in front of me ? Everyone behind me was long gone by the time he managed to get my cash..."
"Stay away form Mission Fed at all costs. Their mobile banking app is completely unusable. Since the most recent update, you cannot deposit the checks with the mobile app, at all. This used to be an issue years ago, but you could at least manually capture the image to make it work. Not anymore. The app crashes immediately when it tries to image the check. We no longer live in San Diego and mobile deposit is the only way for me to move funds to my Mission Fed account to make monthly payments on my credit card with them. Have tried calling for help and just get a "well what do you want us to do about it?". Awful credit union, awful app, and awful customer service."
