"My wife is a resident of this facility, and while I cannot dispute the previous person's perspectives as a CNA, I can state emphatically that as the spouse of a resident of Gundersen St. Elizabeth's Care Center Shields Avenue, it is the most wonderful facility I have ever seen or visited. I have gotten to know the administrative staff as well as the nurses and CNA's. They are all compassionate, caring and loving. I have yet to see any unprofessional conduct or anything that would give me reason to question their professionalism. My wife and the other residents I have met all enjoy their life there and the treatment they receive. I am grateful every day that I was able to get my wife admitted to this facility. Their reputation in the community and surrounding communities could not be better. It is an absolute shame that a post like this can be made and I felt compelled to post my opinion and observations. As a career professional in the hospitality industry, I have no doubt there were good reasons for this person's dismissal and I hope it is responded to in an appropriate fashion."
