"Barry took our group of 4 to eight great vineyards over two days. We quickly discovered that Barry knows everyone in Napa Valley and everyone in Napa knows Barry. His knowledge of the area and its people is extensive and his stories are interesting and informative. Barry's intake questionnaire before arrival helps him tailor your trip so that he is able to take you to the types and cost points of wineries that you would like to visit. The wines we tasted were the best we have ever had. "We first encountered Barry a number of years ago when my then-girlfriend-now-wife and I took our first trip to Napa. He has been an essential mainstay of our trips back ever since and it is hard to imagine visiting the area without him being a part of our experience. He does a fantastic job of providing a full range of different experiences - from the more commercialized tasting rooms down to the small, family-owned vineyards you'd probably miss were it not for him. With that in mind, I would highly suggest that anyone using Barry/Why Spit certainly provide some "must see" stops but leave a good chunk of the itinerary formation to him. Can't recommend Barry highly enough."
