"This is the worst run golf course in southern CA. Management SUCKS, customer service SUCKS, and they always have the range closed, which is the main membership perk. Waste of money and the course has steadily gone downhill over the years. Such a shame. Honestly should be embarrassing. I’ve been golfing here for 20+ years due to Limited courses in the area and the fact that this courses overall rating is above 2 stars is amazing haha"

"We played the vineyard course at river ridge on Saturday Jan 27th. The course conditions are nothing like they once were. I hadn't been there for awhile and I was disappointed to see how far downhill they've let it go. The greens & bunkers were ok but the fairways and rough were.. well rough. It was also a warm day for January and there was no water jugs in the little jug holders AND NO drink cart. The way this course is routed, u play 13 holes before making it back to the clubhouse so u don't get a chance refill water bottles until then. On good note, it was $50 to walk."

"Wow. Great tough golf course. I played the vineyard side and was very pleased with the fairways and greens. The staff was great and helpful. The greens stood out the most in my opinion. They were hard to read and fast. It made every putt an adventure and challenging. I will definitely play this course again when I'm in town. I highly recommend this course to anyone visiting the Oxnard area. Thanks."

"I am a huge fan of this golf course. The course is in fair condition.The sand traps are hard as a rock. The greens are in good condition but extremely slow and fast Depending on the wind. River Ridge Golf Course is challenging and also fun at the same time. The Staff are very helpful/friendly and knowledgeable about the facility."

"I played both the Vineyard course & the Victoria Lakes. Vineyard is a nice course however the Victoria Lakes is not only prettier but substantially more difficult. The only problem I had was when the starter on 14(Vineyard) wanted me to play another course because and I quote, "he was hoping to go home early."(started round at 3:30 finished @ 6:30). Both courses are great. Greens roll really nicely & both courses are well maintained. People do not fix their ball marks on the greens."
