"If you are looking for a place to enjoy some live country music, dance the night away, and have a drink with friendly folks, then you should check out the Cowboy Palace Saloon. This is the last real honky tonk in Los Angeles, and it has a great atmosphere and vibe. The staff is amazing, especially Ashley, who is the best bartender ever. She always makes me feel welcome and serves me the best cocktails. She is attentive, professional, and fun. She is one of the reasons why this is my favorite bar in the world. The Cowboy Palace Saloon is a gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves country music and a good time."

"Best Country venue in the valley. It's an authentic spot with live music and line dancing. The website states there's a cover but I've never been asked to pay and I think it's better that way. Some days during the week can be truly dead and with no music in the jukebox."

"I have been wanting to come here for as long as I’ve known about it, but have always felt really intimidated. But finally made it happen last night! I learned some steps from Mike (they have free lessons!) , drank some Coors Light, danced to LIVE MUSIC, and met some wonderful people. There was a very diverse group of people in attendance which made my heart sing! All ages, races, sexual orientations, and fashions. I am from the south, and I can tell ya, sometimes places aren’t so welcoming to all. But, I got the feeling here all are welcome! The ONLY downside was, because it was Saturday night, at some point it did take a long time to get a drink. But, it wasn’t because the bartenders were slacking! I’ve never seen such hard work! It was just so busy! I hope everyone tipped them well! I was glowing from the inside with happiness. You can take the girl out of the country, but…Thanks Cowboy Palace! I really want to try to make this a regular spot! See you soon!"

"Came here with some friends and had a great night learning how to line dance! Cover is $10 and included when you pay for a drink. There’s a small parking lot in the back but free street parking nearby. Service is slow and they seem pretty understaffed, but the music and the live band was great. The line dancing is taught at different times in the night at different levels of difficulty. You’ll have to come back for multiple lessons. Overall super fun, would recommend."

"If you’re into westerns and what that culture is about, then this is your place. A gem, relic, should be declared a historical site by now - incredibly talented musicians (if you play, you can go up on stage and play as well), friendly and attentive waitstaff (not so much the security guy), and the crowd is very outgoing and accepting of newcomers (us). Free line dancing lessons if you go early. Stiff drinks (as they should be in a western bar). Highly recommend a visit. Friday and Saturday are their busiest."
