Cate Summer Insitute

"Cate was awesome because I was able to truly bond with my roommate and make new friends. The classes were not just educational but also super fun.They incorporate lots of fun activities to make learning a game. During my 2 weeks at Cate, I also enjoyed doing lots of outdoor activities such as hiking, surfing, kayaking, ropes courses, paddle boarding, and so much more! The meals at cate were so amazing and there were a lot of alternatives for gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, or picky eaters. At Cate, there were lots of fun evening activities such as, beach trips, movies, chaos tag, and lots of exciting team-building games. Having my birthday at camp was also a very memorable experience. I got to call my parents and share all of my adventures. My friends helped my twin sister and I celebrate our birthdays during lunch and on our beach trip. I had a blast and didn't feel sad without my family. The weekend was also another gem in the package. We woke up later than usual and instead of going to classes, we went on a trip to explore the town. Finally, the counselors were all very funny and super caring. No matter what you do at Cate, you're always going to have a blast! I can't wait to go back next year! From a camper"

"Looking forward to Summer 2019! This is a fantastic summer program that extends learning from the school year. The program is geared towards middle schoolers, and this is the perfect age for them to step out of their comfort zone. Our daughter attended in Summer 2018--she had to learn how to make new friends and tackle electives that are not offered at her current school. There is a balance of outdoors activities such as hiking, surfing, or biking. She gave us positive feedback at the end of summer camp--we heard great compliments about the food, facilities, teachers, and student counselors. There are many different summer programs available---choose Cate Summer Institute if you want to give your child a chance to learn about diversity, to appreciate nature, and to experience an engaging summer camp."
