"It's a gun shop..not a thrift store or a hardware store.. GUNS and ammo (if you buy a gun). I understand both the angst from customers and from the shop owners. These are sketchier times. As far as my runnings with the shop.. generally prickly at times and warmer customer service at other times.. just depends on the moment. I have had excellent suggestions and have not been led astray for the sake of a sale. When something wasn't right about a purchase they took extra effort and even did some tactical repair work to make things right. I go back when the occasion arises. We don't have many options in San Francisco so just call before you go and get things clear about your intentions with the shop. My 3 cents..."

"I've had a few transactions here and I've been happy each time. They have a good system to manage the increased demand and space restrictions, their prices are reasonable, and they have a selection of handguns, shotguns, and rifles in stock (including some fixed-mag semi autos at the time of this review). Ammo is restricted to those purchasing a gun, which is common right now in the Bay Area. Staff are busy and may be focused or multitasking but they don't rush you and are willing to help the 1st time buyer through the process."
