Racine North Beach

"Beautiful sand. Very clean. No lifeguards but bins of life vests. Great view of Lake Michigan and the Wind Point lighthouse."

"Excellent place for the family! Pretty shallow for younger kids as well as sand pretty far out for everyone! Snacks are available, as well as beer, on the patio only. Sand volleyball, live bands on the weekends!! We just went earlier in the day with the kids, but I could see it being a lot of fun in the evening as well! Nice outside shower to get the sand off, near the bathrooms and food counter."

"North Beach was clean and beautiful! There are lifeguards on duty, and there is a snack shack! Definitely a great place to visit and swim in Lake Michigan! The beach is free and not overly crowded. Plenty of room for everyone!"

"There is plenty of parking, a huge playground, a very nice pathway down to the beach. Not very crowded, but several life guards available until at least 6 or 7 pm ( I lost track of the time). You can see 2 light houses nearby and a marina."

"Racing North Beach is an amazing place to visit. The beach itself is very big. In fact, it's the biggest (widest) beach that I've even been to. The beach is very clean and filled with thick layers of powdery sand. It's not crowded, and I don't think anybody has to worry about not finding a spot for your beach umbrella or your tent. There is a playing park for the kids as well. Overall it is a beautiful beach and I highly recommend it."
