"I'm sad that I have to post this review. I've used Pulaski Pharmacy for over 20 years. I lived in Pulaski; then the last 3 years, I have driven from Luxemburg (70 mile round trip) to get my prescriptions in Pulaski. Why? I don't like how CVS, Walgreens, etc...treat you like a number. Plus, I wasn't impressed by Luxemburg Pharmacy. The pharmacist there tries to "play doctor" and not give prescriptions as ordered by my doctor! For 2 decades, I had found Pulaski was more personable, helpful, organized, etc....until the last 3 or 4 months! In the last 4 months, including today, after ordering my refills by phone, I drove there, to be told they were out of one of them. I understand this can happen. In the past, they ALWAYS called, or texted, to let me know. I'm okay with waiting a few days. But I'm not happy to drive 70 miles and waste time, money, and gas! The lady who checks me out (Chris?) is usually very kind. You could tell that customer issues like these were wearing on her, as she really did not want to help me. I asked her if they could do as they have done in the past---mail it to me at no charge since I was inconvenienced. She told me to talk to the pharmacist. Okay. I was polite, not rude (would encourage anyone to subpoena their security footage if they want to verify!) and clearly stated the issue to the pharmacist. I asked for it to be mailed to me at no charge, as was done before. She would only do it if they charged me for postage. WHAT??!! This is NOT my mistake! She then tried to push blame on me for not calling to see if my prescriptions were in! How about taking responsibilty for the incompetence of your store employees to do their job and call? I then stated to her "when I called this morning and placed the order, your phone system CLEARLY stated that they would be available after 11:45!" (note--I arrived at 12:13 and they weren't ready, and I was finally given only 2 of the 3 ordered at 12:26, when this conversation took place!) I told her this, and she said "well, maybe we have to change our system." Yeah--I kinda think so! I asked her again to do what was right, and take care of the customer, as I had not made a mistake--they had. She sighed, and agreed. I then said to her, trying to be kind, "please understand that I am not trying to point a finger at you specifically--that's not how I work--but it just gets a little frustrating when people make excuses, don't do their work, are lazy, or hide behind Covid. I don't like excuses. People just need to take responsibility to do their jobs and provide what is promised." It was at that point she then changed her mind again and said she wasn't going to send it to me, and THREATENED TO CALL THE POLICE!! I was dumbfounded! Absolutely amazed! (again--check their video footage!) The pharmacist making threats???!! WOW!! It was at that point I told her to go ahead, and was of half the mind to wait for the police to show up (considering I lived there for 18 years and know quite a few of them!) but my time is far too valuable! Then, and ONLY THE, I let her know EXACTLY how I felt about her, her attitude, and the store in general. She could stick it where the sun doesn't shine! There were 4-5 others in the store who saw all of this--which is good---the word will get around about her and these employees. I immediately called another pharmacy when I got home---but before moving my prescriptions over, told them EXACTLY what I expected, and I will be meeting with them next week so they know that excuses will not be tolerated. I was ASSURED via phone I would be called or texted if there were problems, so I am going to hold them to that. There is just no call for this type of service and behavior from ANY firm in ANY industry! If these same people came into my business and didn't get what they were promised, they'd be the first ones to rant and rave and act like fools---bank on it!! But---that would never happen to those who work with me at my firm! AVOID PULASKI PHARMACY!!"
"Friendly staff family owned, small pharmacy, everyone should love this place.... but you always get the impatient one no one can please."
"Not impressed. My Dr sent my meds in Monday. I had off that Friday and went to pick up my Rx. Was told they didn't fill it and they had placed it on hold. When i asked why they didn't have an answer other than there was a copay. Obviously but why on hold? No reason given. Ok fine. Go to pick up my meds. They only have 5 of my 30 because they need to order. Well if you had filled my Rx when it got sent in you would have had them all already. Ok fine. Come back the following week to get the rest of my meds. Call ahead and let them know I'm in my way because I'm coming on my lunch break and will only have 5 minutes. Get there and stand at the register for 5 minutes while one person is on the phone and two people are standing around. No one even acknowledged me. I finally had to say "Excuse Me I Need To Leave!". Then they came and helped. Then looked at me like i was rude for saying something. I am very much not impressed. Please do better."
"I've always received the best service at this pharmacy. The staff are friendly and know regular customers by name. It's such a fun place to go around the holidays, as they order in some of the most imaginative decor I've ever seen! Pharmacists are knowledgeable and courteous. If I've had misgivings about side effects or drug interactions the pharmacist gives me an informed rundown of the facts. They offer a 24/7 telephone refill service. I've called in refills at 2 a.m. or on a Sunday afternoon when they're closed. It's very convenient and easy to use! Simply enter the required information and pick up your refilled scripts the next day! All in all a very pleasant and fun place to go for gifts and/or prescriptions!"
"They are alway quick with my prescription and they have fun stuff to shop around for. Great customer service. I feel they REALLY care about the care of their customers. Thank you Pulaski Health Mart for being so GREAT!!"
