"Quickly becoming my favorite place... I've been frequently heading to Kingslayer Games now for about 2 months. As they are my LGS. I was gifted a Magic Commander deck by a friend but it had been 30+ years (omg 30 years) since I had last played or thought about playing Magic at a Dragons Den in NY. Once I found Kingslayer, I went through their website, looked at almost everything, and saw they listed something called Squire Training which if you sign up for it. Someone from the store will spend time with you, answering questions, go through mechanics, play, have you feel comfortable. I happened to get to meet Alex Cuevas doing this, and his knowledge of the game of Magic has just been outstanding. I've learned so much about the game, strategy and becoming comfortable playing the game in public at a store adds a feeling of community that is so calming. Just to have someone walk you through every step, how to play the game politely is enough to think this is worth it. Also... it's free. If you haven't already sign up for a Squire Training, the community is incredibly welcoming and a blast to learn how to play not only Magic, but your favorite game. -Your Everyday Heroes"

This place definitely wins out for friendliest service. They have Commander nights on Wed and Fri, so the community is thriving.
