"I just wanted to say that Family Health Centers aren't insurance companies. A lot of the roadblocks that can happen are due to denials they may get from a patients insurance. They do work with income issues but for me, I have community health care, and go to Family Health Centers depending on where a specialist may be. . The in house blood work and patient portals are so helpful."

"Should have questioned that the rep came door to door. Took a survey which enrolled my brother without my consent, and then the constant calling started trying to get us to use their services. Now a letter promising approved services. I called Medicare fraud, and she explained how plans like this work. We're staying with original Medicare."

"Just switched a month ago, and find out it will be 7 weeks to see a primary care doctor. I have a ton of prescriptions to be filled, and a tumor in my right leg that needs attention. I am not impressed at all. I called in to have a special case manager assigned, and I was told I need to wait to be seen by a Primary . It will probably be 4 to 6 months before I actually get the attention I need. I really am sorry I switched health plans to this one. Too many layers to get the attention I really need. I will be better off switching back to where I came from, and waiting there. I only switched because I did not want to go to Los Angeles to have my leg operated on. CHG - You are TERRIBLE !!"

"So far I am not at all impressed. I have a plethora of prescriptions that need to be filled, and I have to wait 7 weeks to see a primary care physician. I filled out a "special" questioner about my health needs , but it really doesn't matter. It seems like MORE RED TAPE than where I just came from. I called in to be referred to a special case manager, but I have to wait to see my primary first . So far, this Health Group SUCKS ."

"I almost never leave reviews and I certainly have never left a review for insurance but when I called them to switch my primary care physician they picked up right away and made the change immediately so that I could see my new doctor tomorrow and not wait a month as I usually would have. I used to have health net and they made me wait hours and hours and I am so happy I made the change!!"
