The Medallion by Voyageur Extended Stays

"I loved my stay at The Medallion. I was work with colleagues at the University for four months, and rented one of the apartments at The Medallion. The rental process was seamless- everyone was responsive, kind, and efficient. The online system makes it easy to pay rent, and report any issues as needed. For example, the battery in my opener for the underground parking garage died, and they had a new one to me then next morning. The apartments themselves are well designed. They were clearly put together by people who have a keen eye, and likely a wealth of experience, in design. The light fixtures and much of finished were custom made. The place was so welcoming- not like apartments that feel empty without wall decorations. The location is great. A few blocks to the lake, a few minutes to the state capitol building. About a 30 minute walk to Science Hall on campus (but I mostly rode my bike). I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I got the impression that all the people I dealt with genuinely cared about making sure I had a good experience in Madison. If you are coming to Madison for an extended stay, and can swing it, this is the place to stay."

"I stayed at Kristopher’s Airbnb for the whole month of December and a little into January, and OMG! The apartment itself has great energy, beautiful light fixtures, and had everything I needed for the whole month of December. There’s even a lovely community center on the second floor where people can drop off things they don’t need anymore and found myself a few good miscellaneous items and also any toiletries or cleaning supplies I may have needed. Everyone in The Medallion was super respectful about noise levels and was honestly just a very chill vibe. Now the area is in a beautiful spot right off of Washington Avenue, but easily accessible to any areas especially downtown by walk. Kristopher was exceptional at responding to any questions or concerns I had, and also was very accommodating and flexible with my check in and check out. There’s also underground parking available and a cleaning service available through Kristopher. I loved my stay and HIGHLY recommend The Medallion. Would love to come back in the future!"

"I just loved the Medallion! The apartment was so clean, inviting and well furnished. It was easy to access downtown Madison. There are so many great nearby local restaurants, shops, tons of bike paths, and lovely Lake Monona is just a few blocks away. Julia was an excellent host, she answered all of my questions and more. The welcome Wisconsin cheese and crackers and list of local recommendations was a nice touch. I would absolutely stay here again."
