"I have talked to these guys 3 times. 1st 2 times, they were just very unhelpful and acted like I was some kind of bother. 3rd time, he asked me for a spec on my cranks, so i was measuring them, and then he just got irritated and hung up. The SECOND you say BMX Race bike they act like youre a hassle. They dont know that BMX RACE bikes have a standard size for most things. They ask for measurements that they dont need if they KNOW bike parts. I understand this shop makes a lot of money on mountain and road bikes, and that BMX is not a lucrative market to them, but I despise the way I've been treated. I'd rather drive to Simi Valley than come here, and it's 4 mins from my house. I was a bike mechanic for 10 years, and the shop was e-bike and mtb focused, but I knew how to fix every kind of bike. Why is it so hard for them to understand? I would have bought a helmet, clipless shoes, and protective gear if they weren't SO unhappy to be at work. Shameful."

In the end I paid less than I would have just to fix the initial problem anywhere else. Great people make this a great shop."

They double-taped my rim so I can take my time finding the replacement I want, and set it up tubeless in less than 30 minutes. Nice!"
