"This is the best idea Mexico and the USA could of made. Tijuana airport is located next to the border so this makes sense. It was very easy to navigate and cross. You will save alot of money flying into Tijuana and crossing rather than paying alot and going to San Diego"
"This is my sixth time using it and it is always so smooth. Get your roundtrip tickets in advance. No going across the border, simply go through the gates with your ticket and passport. International Surf Properties approved!!!!"
"My experience was great. It was quick fast, no hassle crossing into Mexico and back into the US. My flight to Mexico was at 4 AM and my flight arriving was at 9:30 PM"
"Really quick border crossing, it takes less than 15 minutes (depending on the season) I crossed in Septemberr 2023 and spent most of time in Immigration, as Mexican we get separated in a different line with less much people, but they were giving priority to the line for American citizens (we ended up spending 10 minutes in there). There is taxi service right outside. The price of the crossing is definitely worth compared to the time you spend by crossing using Otay or San Ysidro border crossings. As for departing from there, we arrived early and went straight to the airport security, which is wonderful!"
"It is great to be able to get across walking to board a Tijuana plane. There are free luggage carts but mine had to be pressed very hard for it to operate, and its a long way, not enough signals, had to ask three times if I was going in the right direction. Remodeling going on as usual. Lots of turns and enough elevators for mid season mid-week. Signaling can improve. Had to take my shoes off and security does not offer paper shoes, so be prepared. But as far as it goes to passing security traveling in Mexico, these people have been the friendliest!"
