"First, I love all the benefits and services they offer, but they lack ability to execute anything. I've been trying to get direct deposit properly set-up for 5 months. I've chatted with support several times and each time they say "a ticket has been submitted." Because of this issue I keep losing the benefits (high yield savings account, etc.). And forget about the sign-up bonus - you'll never get it."

"I recommend SoFi and will continue to use SoFi for all my financial needs. SoFi is honest, professional and reliable service. SoFi helped me when no one else did. I was in a car accident, falling behind on credit card bills-only able to pay minimum amount. My interest on these cards went up after Covid. Thanks to SoFi I got a low with real real low interest rate to pay off my high interest credit cards. I also was approved for a credit card with 0% APR for 18months. I can’t thank SoFi enough for the easy application process, kind and compassionate approach. They also offer so many other services and benefits. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SoFi. I applied with other companies sending me offers to find out I was denied and they contacted me. I trust no other company than SoFi-check them out! They are the BEST!!!"

"This bank is the worst bank I ever worked with .I saw their ads for higher interest rate then opened online checking acct , then I deposited a big check in it ,the second day I received a call, didn’t state who he is who he works for but directly asked who I was, and who wrote me a check, so I thought it was a scam, so I said I don’t have to tell you I don’t know you , then the second day my account was frozen, that was a good check. It’s a big amount but you can see is available on my account but I cannot use any of it it’s frozen. So I called customer service they provided for at least 50 times, every time told me there’s nothing they can tell me there’s no information and no higher manager or department I can talk to, what’s the reason they don’t know , and how long it will be frozen they don’t know , I spend a whole day call back, trying to use the money to invest into the stock market but it’s been two weeks still remain frozen and I know what I can talk to just this is the worst experience I ever had with any banks, have been used Ally bank for few years, never had any problems like this, and then they pay you interest every month, just I think I cannot put in too much money in one bank just in case but I made a huge mistake and there’s nothing I can do now, be careful of this bank."

"I don't send out reviews on business even if I had terrible services, but this takes the cake. I disputed an authorized charge on account last week (1/13/24) and randomly they froze my account today (1/23/24) and I only found out because I was trying to pay for my lunch. Then when I gave them a call they told me to reset my passwords on both my email and my SoFi account. After doing that I was told that m account was under investigation for the dispute (makes sense) but when I asked if I can speak to a higher up or manger to see if we can work something out I was told that 1. They can give out any information to me to speak to a higher up and 2. That they do not have any mangers to in their department. I then asked if they can direct me to another department and again 3. They could not give out any information to me to anyone. Once and if they dispute any charges on my account and unfreeze my bank which has a total of 1.8k in there I am taking out every penny I have with them and closing this account. Never had an issue until today. The fact that there's a bank like this still open for business and treating their customers like this (reading from the reviews) is astounding to me. I dont even care about the dispute charge anymore. I just want my freaking money back"

"All the money in my account was emptied despite me calling SoFi 3 times as it was happening. I’m a teacher and I lost $3k, my wife died when my daughter was 3 and I work with at risk youth teaching job skills. They said theycan talk to me in 5-10 days but that I might not get my money back. I’m not going to make it without the money. I’ll drink milk for 10 days so my kid can eat real food. I don’t think I’m going to make it much longer though. I don’t want to, I think SoFi not doing anything about me getting robbed, me missing rent and not being able to buy food has pretty much gotten me evicted and I’ll be a homeless teacher who works with the kids you guys couldn’t raise. SoFi is not completely to blame but it’s insane that they wouldn’t cancel the transaction at all, like they let them steal the money when they could have stopped it. Meaning, whoever hacked or got my account got away with the money and the security won’t even look at it for 10 days. Meaning, they treat criminals stealing from their customers better then they treat their customers. Maybe the government will cover it, maybe SoFi will have to wait for a bailout. But they are quiet literally allowing criminals to profit off of their customers and the American people’s taxes. It’s cool SoFi, 10 days to address my money.
