Hotel Verdant,

"This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! The rooms are beautiful, the bathroom is so luxurious and the lobby is so fancy! However, the customer service during my recent stay wasn't the best. My friend and I stayed for a girls weekend trip and we immediately noticed upon arrival to our room that the mini fridge wasn't working. We called down and someone came up right away to inspect it. It didn't appear to be a quick fix so they offered to change us to a different room. We gladly accepted and we were told someone from the front desk would call us with our new room. However, we never heard from anyone about it the rest of our stay. Oh well, we didn't let it damper our mood! Second, we noticed the plumbing wasn't the best. It took several flushes for the toilet to work and we had to manually check the tank to make sure it was filling correctly. Thirdly, on our second day we called down to the front desk and asked for our towels to be replenished and the trash to be taken out and we were told that housekeeping is only offered on the third day of your trip (??). VERY confusing. They still came up and replenished the towels and took some of the trash out but it was after my friend requested it despite their "policy". Overall, not the best customer service for the price you're paying but a very beautiful hotel."

"I stayed in a corner suite with great views of Lake Michigan. The hotel was very comfortable, clean, well designed and decorated beautifully. You can tell there was serious thought into each detail. The rooftop bar had the best view in Racine, nearly a full 360° view of downtown and the Lake. Great wine selection. The sauna in the fitness center was a nice amenity. I really enjoyed the pork shank in their restaurant. Highly recommend staying here."

"I stayed at Hotel Verdant the first week of January 2024. The place is beautiful! Rooms are clean and quiet. I had a good view of downtown Racine and the lake from my fourth floor room . The restaurant food was good. The rooftop bar and terrace affords a good view of Racine. I also felt very secure. And, finally, had a very good night's sleep."

"I travel quite a bit. This hotel has a staff that CARES. Excellent bars and restaurants. The food is incredible and it seemed like a lot of locals patron here (always a good sign). Cocktails are tasty and consistent when ordering the same drink. This is my go to hotel when I am in the area. Great idea for a date night!! Overall amazing experience."

"We live in Racine and wanted a night out. We didn't want to go far from home, but Racine hasn't ever had a lot to offer for a unique one night get away. The Hotel Verdant has changed that. It us beautiful, and welcoming. The rooms are really nice, like, complementary bath robes nice. The rooftop bar is exceptional, with knowledgeable servers, a great choice of cocktails and a secretly enticing selection of bourbons. My wife and I had an exceptional experience, and there are perks for local residents. I highly recommend checking it out whether you are from here or visiting."
