Pacific Primary School

Pacific Primary School, located at 1500 Grove Street in San Francisco, California, was founded in 1974 by a group of parents and Mary Nordland Bodo. The school has a rich history of community involvement, with parents actively supporting fundraising efforts and participating in classroom activities and field trips. The dedicated staff at Pacific Primary consists of experienced professionals who provide a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children ages two and a half to six years old.

The school consists of two campuses - the Yellow Sun School, which opened in 1974, and the Orange Sun School, which opened in 2008. Both campuses offer a variety of educational approaches to promote deep and meaningful learning, with a strong emphasis on the creative arts such as music, movement, and expressive arts. Pacific Primary also provides a full-day program to support working parents and celebrates diversity in all forms, including different family structures and backgrounds.
