"Nico, Ana, and their amazing staff (Ms Lexi, Julia, and Selina) are some of the most caring, patient, and attentive teachers that we know. Our daughter has flourished under their Montessori teachings, and both she and our whole family have made friends that we hope last a lifetime. We recommend everyone to Acqua!"
"Wonderful school. Nico, Ana and staff are just amazing. Such a hidden gem."
"Teacher Nico and his team make my two children feel warm and welcome at their school. They create such a safe and comfortable place where the children can flourish and thrive. They have been so understand and communicative with our family. The school itself is also set up quite conveniently in a secluded spot, but so easy to get to and from. We actually can bike as a family along a beautiful safe bike path right to the school. I would recommend sending your kids here to anyone. Maria Montessori would be proud."
"GO FOR IT! Choosing this school for your little one is the best decision you’ll ever make! After having a bad experience with an “open house” at Montessori de Terra Linda, which has always been my first choice ever since my daughter was born, my dream of having her go there got crushed and I realized that was absolutely not the right place for her. I begin my search again and a friend found Acqua M. online. I couldn’t find any reviews of the school, but the website was appealing to me. Something was telling me that would be it! That I’ve found the perfect place. I called and spoke to Nico, the director and teacher, who was extremely polite and inviting. He answered all of my hundreds of questions about the school program etc, and then offered me a couple different date/times options for a school tour. We went there and the second we entered the school and were greeted by Nico, we just knew we have found the perfect place for our little girl! He is such a pleasant person. Very polite, calm and a happy person. He has a great energy, if you know what I mean. He went around the school and showed us everything in there with so much joy and pride. You can definitely tell that he absolutely loves what he does and the school he built. That was back in February 2020, the school was very new and there only 2 other little boys there. The fact that there were no reviews, only two students and the school was so new, didn’t change a single bit how we felt about that being the right place for our daughter. It’s strange to say, but we felt in our hearts that we wanted to trust our gut and move forward with Acqua Montessori. We are SO glad we did! I was nervous about how my daughter would react to the very new routine and for my surprise, she did amazing! She cried a little bit at drop off on day 3 and 4. After that, never complain about going to school or staying there. She gives us a big hug, waves and goes in the classroom with no problem! That is a huge reassurance that the school is a great environment for her in every way. She felt safe and welcome fro day one! Know that every child is different, but the fact that she didn’t cry on the first day really blew my mind! I always leave with a happy heart after dropping her off, knowing she’s in good hands! Another thing I should mention is that she’s there 5 days a week from 8:30am to 4/5pm depending on the day. So, it’s a very long day! You would imagine when we come by to pick her up, she’d run to us and want to go home right? Nope! Not always the case. There were many times when we went to pick her up and she wants to stay a few more minutes because she’s finishing working on a painting, playing with a toy, or dancing to a fun song along with teacher Nico, like they are having a fun party! And how convenient the available early drop off and later pick up can be for full time working parents like ourselves?! The school has a great aftercare program that goes until as late as 6pm I believe. It’s undeniable how much our daughter is benefiting from the school program. ABCs, numbers, new songs every day, body parts (not so obvious ones for a 3yr old like bones etc). Also, a lot of awareness with her “please” and “thank you”, sharing, and overall kindness. She’s developing her social skills exactly the way we expect her to. We are definitely on the same page with the school team when it comes to child education and that’s a great feeling! Raising a child is not an easy task, specially these days, so having the right support system is key for being successful. We are beyond grateful for Teacher Nico and his staff, and all the work he does with the children. He’s absolutely helping us parents, raise better little humans!"
"Teacher Nico is wonderful!"
