"Had a wonderful stay at this hotel to see a show at the opera house. John was a great host and had very kindly cancelled my previous reservation in February at the last minute since the show we were seeing was rescheduled due to an ice storm. There were yummy breakfast treats and coffee in the morning, and overall a very relaxing experience with a great bath tub and comfortable beds. John has the only room I could find in any of the historic hotels that had two beds so that's another great plus for this hotel if that's what you need. Very convenient location to walk to all of the beautiful shops and restaurants this town has to offer, can't wait to come back!"

Our accommodations were very clean, comfortable, and provided all we needed. Our room even had a private balcony but we spent any spare time on the charming patio next to the hotel. "My daughter and I went to Mineral point for a girls’ weekend and really enjoyed our stay. John, Lisa, and their kids were friendly and helpful, recommending restaurants and providing information about local attractions. We loved that we were within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. We enjoyed local pizza on their patio and morning coffee and muffins in the lobby. Clean, lovely room with a very comfortable bed. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"

"What a wonderful place to stay in a beautiful historic building in the historic town of Mineral Point. You open the entrance's tall door and walk into a very french quarter New Orleans vibe. The tall ceilings give the charming lobby an airy feeling. The lobby offered two separate sitting areas, a coffee bar and even a liquor bar (purchase extra, of course) We were welcomed by the owners and check-in was a breeze. Our room held two rod iron queen beds with a claw foot bathtub. The room was large and again had tall ceilings with a ceiling fan. Amenities included a flat screen TV in the room and a hairdryer provided in the bath. There were plenty of towels. The beds & pillows were super comfy. I did not expect such a warm & inviting stay. The owners are kind and thoughtful. It all made for good memories and a place I look forward to staying at again."
