"I bought a price point bike on Amazon, and I stopped at Alameda Bicycle on Park Blvd. The guys were hanging around, making judgmental comments about my 'mail order' bike, and trying to upsell a derailleur adjustment. I could schedule a repair a week out. Other bike shops didn't open until 11 so I went to Lulu's. Had fond memories of the place from when they used to rent bikes. Mike was immediately helpful and genuine. I wanted to learn how to do the adjustment myself. Some bike shops want to gouge you, or are snooty. Not Lulu's. Great experience and a local business doing honest work."
