"The gentleman taking our reservation and answering all our questions was extremely gracious, polite, knowledgeable, welcoming and accommodating. Room 106 was recently renovated and seemed very new. It was also clean as a whistle and not a spec of grime to be found. Check in was very seamless using text and email. Highly recommend this place to stay for anyone. Especially if you have an EV electric vehicle. There is a charger around the corner at the restaurant."

"I agree with the comments that this is a roadside motel, nothing more. Price is too high and there is no closet and no hooks. We take our own hook for over the bathroom door. The last time my husband stayed there he was a little early and wanted to drop his stuff off before doing a couple errands, the voice on the phone said no problem, the room was ready. When the charge showed up he was charged an additional (and healthy) fee. No mention of that on the call!"

"I saw some of the reviews. I want to say this was a clean room. The view out the back was actually refreshing to see some black steers in a distance. It was extremely quiet, the walls were not paper thin but actual thick walls. It was less than a mile from two places to eat. We were within a very reasonable distance to viroqua which is where we wanted to go and spend our time. We had an upstairs rooms king size bed. You could smell the freshness of the paint. Very clean. We definitely would stay again. Thank you Just wish the rates were a tad lower."

"I would not recommend staying here. Why? 1) the water tasted putrid, 2) there was hair on the toilet seat, 3) the a.c. was ridiculously loud, 4) there was no deadbolt on the door. Just the cheap door handle lock that any idiot could break into, 5) no on site staff, 6) poor signage, 7) our neighbors said their bathroom was full of gnats and the shower had a bunch of hair in it. I can't believe I paid over $100 for this dump!"

"Pretty sketchy. Located right off the highway, in the same parking lot as Crazy Frank's Flea Market. Behind an abandoned building. No apple trees (or apples in site). This is a motel, not a hotel. Me and colleagues had three rooms - all different colors but very basic. Smelled very musty. The floors were sticky. Tiny toilet and sink, nowhere to place toiletries. No hair-dryer. Stained towels. The bed and pillows were comfortable, so that was surprising. TV turned on, but couldn't do anything else. WiFi was unreliable. No vending machine. There was a fridge and microwave in each of our rooms. There is no one working there to talk to, so if you experience a problem, you're on your own. Masking tape on the door with your name on it to indicate your room. The door is unlocked, and you walk in to get your key (or your given a code). It didn't feel very safe. The doors were pretty janky and had one measly lock. I wouldn't stay here again. I agree with other reviews - if you have no other options, it's a place to sleep and get out as quick as you can."
