"Arranged, IN ADVANCE, for a ride OUT of Muir Woods back to San Fran. The driver, Rog, was punctual. This is the way to go in my opinion. All the tour companies I looked at were over $100 per person and only allowed 60 minutes in the woods. We were a party of 3 so paying for A1 Taxi ended up being about half the price a tour company would have cost us AND arranging this in advance allowed us to enjoy the woods for about 2.5 hours.
