"I (We) had an absolutely amazing experience with all of the staff at the birth center. They all were knowledgeable, empathetic, and caring. It’s hometown care with experience. You can tell all of the staff enjoy what they do and enjoy each other. Trista was a rock star on helping me deliver and the team around her knew exactly what to do next. Thank you so much for helping us welcome our big boy into the world! Well we came back! Update 2022 I can’t tell you how much I (and many of my family and friends) appreciate the community based care from their team. This is my second personal birth (first water birth with Brittany and team, AMAZING)/6th birth of close friends or family at this hospital and we have all has such great experiences with the WH/ L&D team. During my pregnancy I was given ample time to discuss any questions/concerns with the midwives. One even took the time to contact me information after to add to our conversation! We appreciate the sound medical based practice with a patient centered approach. I was never pressured into anything, I was informed on options and I was supported. Their realistic COVID protocols put care back into health care and joy into experiencing birth with our family."

My baby and I were well cared for in a clean and welcoming environment both times. I live a decent ways away and I chose to have my babies here, and I will do it again if I have a third. During my prenatal care I met with a couple OBs, and ultimately decided to be seen by the midwife, Jessica, who is wonderful. Everyone was great, though! The staff at the birth center couldn't have been more kind, caring, and all around a great birth team. I had a water birth and it was truly a one of a kind experience. "I just had my first child in September and had no idea what to expect. We visited United and Fairview prior to settling on the Northfield hospital to give birth. The experience was better than anything I could have imagined. The nurses were all so wonderful. I can remember the names of a few: Cori, Michelle, Rose Marie, Jessica (I think) and Andrea (I think). Every single nurse on staff, however, deserves the biggest kudos for making the delivery of our daughter memorable in the best possible way. My husband, baby, and I were exceptionally taken care of.
